16 Jun Following ITIL Principles in Ellore resulted in Acquiring Four ISO Certificates

In Spring 2016, Ellore, as part of Hansab Group, acquired ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001 and ISO 14001 certificates from Bureau Veritas. Ellore is one of the few companies in the Baltics to have all four, gaining a considerable competitive advantage in the field.

ISO_medium“Our employees passed the ITIL training and that gave a solid base for preparing our processes compatible to ISO requirements,” commented Alar Alumaa, CEO of Ellore.

ISO 9001 sets out the criteria for a quality management system. ISO 20000, the IT service management system standard, includes guidance on the use of service management systems for the planning, design, transition, delivery and improvement of the SMS and services. ISO 14001 sets out the requirements for an environmental management system

ISO 27001 standard specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system. It also includes requirements for the assessment and treatment of information security risks tailored to the needs of the organization.

With the ISO 27001 we can provide our customers and partners documented proof that we have carefully planned, implemented and verified data security systems. In addition, we can optimise our business processes, since many security incidents will be prevented and the tasks of every employee are exactly defined.

“As a growing company, we want to get our processes straight. ISO gives a good starting point for that. With these certificates we can assure to our clients and partners, that our operations are organised and all incidents are solved effectively. Due to that we can offer even better services. It is definitely not the end, but the beginning of improvements and amendments,” added Alumaa.
