08 apr. Euro Integration with the POS Terminals in Latvia

The euro migration in Latvia was very fluid because of the preparation works performed by the banks, terminal related companies’ and finance systems suppliers. Point-of-sale terminals for card payments in shops were successfully converted to euro in time for the opening of shops on the 2^nd January. Hansab Latvia team had very limited calls to the helpdesk during the changeover. The first two weeks of the euro heavily influenced card payment in Latvia.
